T21Con is an exciting opportunity for education students to interact with classroom teachers who are experts at using educational technology to support 21st century teaching and learning. Our expert practitioners will demonstrate how to use technology effectively in the P-12 classroom. All teacher education majors across campus are eligible to participate.

About the conference

Organized by the College of Education and sponsored by SUITE (Students Using and Integrating Technology in Education), this event is sponsored by a generous gift from Mary F. and Robert J. English. Mary F. English earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Illinois State in 1968. Dr. Robert English earned a Bachelor of Science in Business in 1966 and an MBA in 1967. Dr. English served for many years as a member of the Illinois Board of Higher Education and is a leader in the study of technology and its impact on education at all levels. The English family's endowed fund at Illinois State has allowed the Office of Enrollment Management and Academic Services to purchase computers for students with financial need since 2001. The Mary F. Technology Award Program is administered by the University College Julia N. Visor Academic Center.
